FIFA 19 Beta Thoughts

So, I have been lucky enough to be invited to the Beta for FIFA 19 and have played for a good while now. I usually play Ultimate Team as do the majority of online players, but I thought I would give the new Kick Off mode a try first. Previously this mode for me has basically been the tutorial, play a few games here to pick up the new mechanics each year then time to jump into a career or online mode. EA Sports have completely overhauled this and even gave it a competitive edge! There are now leader boards that link to your profile, you’re able to share these with your friends.

The main difference is the actual game types however. We all know the Champions League is back, [...]

Human Fall Flat: Revisited

Human: Fall Flat is a physics-based platform-puzzle game developed by No Brakes Games and published by Curve Digital. It was originally released on PC & MAC July 2016 then on console; PS4 & Xbox in May 2017 then Nintendo Switch December 2017.

“This isn’t a new game, why post a review now?” I hear you say. Good question, after a brief game synopsis read on and you’ll find out!

No Man’s Sky: NEXT Review

No Man’s Sky released to a mixed reception despite it’s innovative and astoundingly scaled approach to the survival/exploration genre. A lot of people were upset that multiplayer was not an option, despite what the marketing had suggested, and the galaxy also felt a little empty with not a lot of interactivity. Now, almost two years later, Hello Games have released a major update to the game which adds in extensive multiplayer options along with a whole host of other features and it’s all for free.

Since the 24th of July I’ve poured a huge amount of hours into playing No Man’s Sky and I haven’t regretted it. There’s more to do than [...]

All Star Fruit Racing Review

3D Clouds are an Italian 3D rendering design company and this is their first attempt at creating their own video game. It’s most definitely worth bearing this in mind as you read my review.

Since Mod Nation and Crash Team Racing on Playstation 3, there hasn’t been a massive amount of choice when it comes to kart racing on Playstation. There’s currently only a small handful of kart racers on PS4 for All Star Fruit Racing to contend with; Beach Buggy Racing and Bears Can’t Drift? both at £7.99, Coffin Dodgers at £9.49 and Obleteracers at £11.49. With ASFR coming in at a hefty £30, have 3D Clouds done enough to take first place and be PS4’s equivalent of Mario Kart? Let’s find [...]
